Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and CareSync B.V. (“CareSync”, “we”, “us”), based in the Netherlands. By creating an account or using CareSync, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

CareSync is a shared dashboard that helps families coordinate care for an older loved one — logging medications and appointments, storing documents, and keeping family members in sync.

CareSync is not a medical device, not a medical record, and not a substitute for professional medical advice. It is not for emergencies — in an emergency, call your local emergency number.

You must be at least 16 years old to use CareSync. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for activity in the family workspace you create or join.

When using CareSync, you agree not to:

• Use the service unlawfully or for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload other people's personal data without a proper basis to do so.
• Attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the security or integrity of the service.
• Resell or commercially exploit the service without our permission.

CareSync offers a Free plan (up to 3 care logs per day and the last 7 days of history) and a Premium plan at €17.99 per month, which covers your whole family and removes those limits.

Premium is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

You keep ownership of the content and documents you add to CareSync. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and display that content solely to provide the service to you and your family.

CareSync helps you organise care information; it does not provide medical advice and must not be relied on for medical decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.

We work hard to keep CareSync reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

You can stop using CareSync and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service in a way that harms others or the service itself.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareSync is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss arising from your reliance on the service for medical or emergency decisions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Dutch courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
